ParkSensei — Edge-AI Smart Parking Patrol Robot

Secured 2nd Prize at the AI & Robotics Project Showcase. ParkSensei is an autonomous edge-AI patrol robot that detects parking bay violations, reads license plates offline with RapidOCR, and prints citations on the spot.

Built for the AI & Robotics course under the mentorship of Dr. Saurav Verma and demonstrated live to Dean Koteswara Anne. Running entirely on a Raspberry Pi 5 with an Arduino Uno motor controller, OpenCV vision pipeline, RapidOCR (ONNX), and ESC/POS thermal receipt printing. Classified 23 of 24 violations correctly in test runs with OCR under a second.
